1.Jakoi

Location- Assam Bhavan, Sardar Patel Marg, New Delhi

Jakoi, Assam Bhavan is known to serve only the best of the Assamese cuisines. The food tastes excellent and is authentic in flavor. The restaurant staff is from Assam, which adds to the authenticity. 4.Bamboo Shoot Kitchen

Location - Gupta Market, Lajpat Nagar, New Delhi

Another wonderful option to taste authentic Assamese and Naga dishes. The USP of the restaurant is their method of cooking. They emphasize on giving the home-cooked vibe to all their delicacies. Not only this, the herbs they use are brought straight from Nagaland, which adds to its grandeur. No frills, just delicious North East food; that too at a nominal amount of Rs.500 for two people.


5.Assam Food Stall

Location - Dilli Haat, Aurobindo Marg, New Delhi

A state stall of Assam in Dilli haat which serves Assamese cuisines. Their menu is varied and covers all major dishes from the region. A decent option if you're having a shoe-string budget.
